Christmas 2010

Yeah! Eric was so excited to celebrate Christmas. He enjoys any sort of party really. He had some dance moves on Christmas Eve morning when Oma, Opa & Auntie came over to celebrate for breakfast!

Auntie got Eric some fun Thomas presents, he loves Thomas!! Or any choo-choo!

Christmas Eve evening is always spent with the Vandenberg family. Eric loves playing with cousins McKenna, (he calls her Makema), Vivienne (He calls her Vivi), and Cameron (he just calls her baby!)........They exhange presents every year too. He was very excited to get his new Tractor & Fire Engine! He also decided to wear his formal attire.

On Christmas Day we spent time with the Adams' family out at the Love Shack in Eaton Rapids. Santa came!!!! He even brought Eric a Tigers Shirt, Tractors & race cars! Eric was a little unsure but enjoyed his time with Santa.

Tractors

Eric loves tractors & has started calling every tractor "Opa's Tractor"..... Because wherever we see Opa- Opa takes Eric for tractor rides..... at work, at home, and up north.... So Opa's Tractor it is!

Playing in the Snow

We went up north a weekend in December & had a great time relaxing & playing in the snow! Eric loved getting out & playing.

Eric LOVED cranking up the boat or Jet-Ski's this past summer, and sure enough he found the wheel on the hoist on land to try to crank it up!

Yes. Jeff is wearing a Michigan Sweatshirt. I have never seen him in those colors before. He said he doesnt even like it on himself but we better get used to him being a Wolverine! He starts at the U of M Ross School of Business in January for his MBA! Go Jeff! I know you will do great!

Thomas Train Show

We took Eric to a Thomas Train Show in Troy. We were supposed to meet cousin Viv there but she wasnt feeling so well. Eric had a blast though, anything to do with trains & he is there!

He loved standing on this little step for the kids to watch the big trains go around. He didnt care that he was the little guy!

HOT!

We took Eric up north and Auntie Sarah came with us, we had a fun weekend staying in, going out to eat at Fred's and playing in the snow with Eric........UNTIL............
Eric decided to touch the outside of the fireplace!! He kept saying Hot when near it & we had it blockaded & he decided he just couldn't resist & had to touch it. It did put a 2nd degree burn on his little index fingertip.....so we took him to the dr when we got home because he managed to rip off every single bandage that we put on him. This lasted almost a day before he got that one off.... all healed up great now though!

Fantasy of Lights Parade

Eric LOVED his first Parade Ever!! He loved all the lights & of course the Trucks were his favorite. We were freezing but Eric wanted to stay so bad. His hands were getting so cold & he would not wear his own mittens, but would wear Jeff's gloves. I guess they were already nice & warm for him!

Halloween 2010

Happy Halloween! Eric was proud to act as Fire Cheif for the night...... we started off trick or treating at Jim & Chris's- our neighbors!

Then off to Great Omas.... Trick or Treat!!!
